About Us
The primary goal of Polo Ridge Elementary School is to cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that fosters strong interpersonal relationships, promotes academic excellence, and celebrates respect for cultural diversity. To meet the diverse needs of our students, we implement a variety of instructional strategies, including differentiated instruction, flexible grouping, inclusive practices, experiential learning, and data-driven instruction. Across all classrooms, teaching and learning are intentionally designed to develop students’ critical thinking skills. Our ultimate aim is to ensure high levels of academic growth for every student while also supporting their social and emotional well-being each day.
🏆 Polo Ridge is a proud neighborhood school that earned an “A” school grade for the 2024–2025 school year and exceeded expected growth.
Our school is supported by a dedicated team of 37 PreK–5 classroom teachers and 7 teacher assistants, who serve as instructional assistants and work with students in small groups during workshop time throughout the day. In addition, we have a full-time art, music, physical education, and STEAM teacher. Students also benefit from a media assistant who supports Media classes and an instructor who leads our Mind and Muscle Lab as part of the Special Areas rotation.
Our student support team includes a Talent Development/Catalyst teacher, two academic facilitators, two school counselors, a school psychologist, one Multilingual Learner (ML) teacher, two Exceptional Children (EC) teachers, and one EC assistant. Our administrative team consists of an Assistant Principal, a Dean of Students, and the Principal.
At Polo Ridge, we believe in developing the whole child. To support students’ interests and passions, we offer a wide range of before- and after-school enrichment clubs.
